This researched report is focused on optimization of electromagnetic design of permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). At first step the four different arrangements of PMSM were analytically calculated and results were compared by using finite element analysis. All four topologies were designed with same stator. The second part of this report is describing the following optimization of a V-shape IPMSM.
