Original language description
The paper deals with time-optimal control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). It builds upon a recently proposed analytical expression for time-optimal control of the PMSM, where a computationally feasible control algorithm has been designed based on time-to-go function calculated for a double-integrator model approximating the PMSM model. This paper is focused on reducing oscillations caused by a combination of discrete-time control and continuous time-to-go function. Several methods for oscillation reduction are proposed and their performance is compared using a numerical simulation study.
