Original language description
This article deals with the thermal analysis of tractíon transformer. The traction transformers are special kind of a transformers. The windings have lots of voltage termínals for various voltage levels and varíous supply systems. In the artícle is described the thermal mathematical model of traction transformer. The possibílities of simplification of calculation model and high accuracy of simulation results are compared with reality. The traction transformer ís placed on the deck of rail vehicle. The transformer coolíng is provided by two cooling systems. Inner cooling system ís made by the mineral oil. The oil is forced cooled by switching an air-fan. The fan switching dependents on temperature of mineral oil. This reduced model is used for calculation of total energy of rail vehicle.
