Robust magnetic flux-based fault detection of electromagnetic valve operation under uncertainty
Original language description
The paper deals with a model-based approach to fault detection in the framework of electromagnetic actuator in valve operation and with its experimental validation. The forward uncertainty propagation for the mathematical model of the actuator is tested to determine probability of faultless operation under aleatoric and epistemic uncertainties. Afterwards, the six sigma approach is used by the control algorithm to make decision on occurred fault, which is identified by measurement of induced voltage in the field coils during actuator operation.
