Breakdown Behaviour at Synthetic Air Insulated System Composed with Solid Interface
Original language description
In previous research co-operation between SE and ZCU numerous tests have been performed to describe and predict the dielectric breakdown behaviour in synthetic air gas insulation. Further investigation was focused on issues related to practical industrial manufacturing of GIS. All those investigations were performed in pure gaseous insulation arrangements. On the other hand at a practical designed GIS some interfaces of insulating materials are existing. In particular, the impact of barriers on breakdown proces is of great practical importance for proper designed equipment in manufacturing and quality testing. Therefore, first investigation of an impact of such dielectric interfaces on breakdown behavior was carried out. At first an appropriate test arrangement for the mentioned target was designed and manufactured. After that the test set was stressed at lightning impulse voltage as well as under 50 Hz AC conditions
