Original language description
There is proposed an idea and evaluated a case study of cooperation of thermal energy storage (TES) and backpressure turbine in this paper. The main focus is paid on separation of the link between production and utilization of thermal energy as well as electrical energy by backpressure turbine. An overview of the thermal energy storages was elaborated, and optimal storage was evaluated on real operation data from combined heat and power plant as a case study. Case study results are discussed in the conclusion.
