Geometrical Optimization of Charging Pads for Electric Vehicles Wireless Power Supply

  • Original language description

This paper addresses the challenge of geometric optimization of charging pads for electric vehicle (EV) wireless power supply, focusing on the double-D (DD) coil configuration. The optimization process employs the Finite Element Method (FEM) through the optiSLang tool integrated into the ANSYS software suite, aiming to refine the design of electromagnetic coupling elements. The study seeks to align closely with the proposed electrical parameters by leveraging a sophisticated electromagnetic design while minimizing energy losses. Furthermore, the paper includes empirical measurements conducted on an actual device to validate the theoretical models and optimization outcomes. The findings underscore the potential for enhancing the efficiency and reliability of wireless charging systems for EVs, marking a significant step towards sustainable and user-friendly electric mobility solutions.
