Original language description
The publication entitled Innovation and Injury Prevention in Teaching Professional Self-Defensefor IRS Specialized Professions is an English-language professional text from the environment of biomechanics in the teaching of professional self-defense for the staff of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS). He works in an environment with a high frequency of verbal and physical attacks. These attacks are most often carried out by the patients themselves. To increase the safety of emergency medical staff, self-defense training is recommended. These are formed by movement actions, where a blow to the upper limb is a key component of teaching. This teaching takes place in accredited study programs of secondary and higher education. The main goal of the publication is the prevention of injury risks in the teaching / course of professional self-defense for high school and university students. The publication is intended for both university teachers and tactical coaches, as well as high school and university students. The publication should provide its readers with insight into broader pedagogical contexts in injury prevention in professional self-defense courses and in a comprehensible way to present the biomechanical principles of frequent movement actions and measurement results of studies with an orientation on the evaluation of impact forces in combat systems. Modified, updated information from a number of measurements can be used especially by teachers who want to expand their portfolio of knowledge in the field of self-defense theory and apply it to their students. Selected information from various areas of combat systems can make it easier to understand broader aspects of training and sports preparation.
