The study summarizes the basic aspects of the issue of status of national minorities in interwar Czechoslovakia 1918-1938. The research focus on a number of aspects of politico-social life of ethnic minorities in the era of the First Czechoslovak Republic. One of such aspects consists for example in the issue of representation of minorities in the Czechoslovak National Assembly, which is also summarized in the study.
