    The focus of this collaborative lecture was in-depth exploration of the situation and genesis of urban marginality in the Czech Republic. Based on cross-disciplinary cooperation between researchers in the field of anthropology and critical security studies, and drawing from research done within the project "Critical political sociology of (in)security professionals", funded by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, the lecture dealt with the structural forces and key variables of marginalization as they play out in the postsocialist condition on the case of ethnoracially stigmatized population living in the Czech Republic.
