Gross ball handling skills are defined as skills that involve movement behaviors that are used to project or receive object, especially ball such as throwing, catching, kicking, rolling striking the ball. Gross ball handling skills are important for bothsocial interaction on the playground and performance in physical education. Many physical educators consider these skills to be the most important motor skills in motor development because they are the cornerstones of many games and activities. The measurement of ball handling skills is widely used to identify children with developmental delay as well. The test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) is one of the most employed tools for the examination of developmental delay in motor behavior or disorder in coordination. The test consists of two subtests: locomotor and object control. The aim of the present study was to assess gross ball handling skills performance in children.
