Identification of key and critical points in early chemistry curriculum in Czech Republic
Original language description
In the contribution possibilities and limits of the early chemistry curriculum innovation in the Czech Republic at time of current curricular reform are discussed. An example of chemistry subject matter in educational content and the context are focused. Methodology of research is based on interview with chemistry teachers, and partial results present problems with cognition over-load of the pupils and the necessity to improve the content, particularly to build stronger connec-tion to everyday life and forming of science literacy.
