Chemical Reactions in Practical Chemistry Teaching
Original language description
Chemical process is one of the key thematic units in chemistry education. The article focuses on the issue of chemical reactions in practical chemistry teaching at primary and secondary schools. Several concrete experiments are presented, through which pupils and students can learn about the basic types of chemical reactions (chemical combining, chemical decomposition, substitution reactions, conversion) and thus combine the information obtained with a quantitative evaluation of a chemical reaction. These concrete examples of practical tasks will introduce pupils and students to qualitative and quantitative descriptions of chemical processes. The selected tasks focus on different types of chemical reactions, their notation by chemical equations, and calculations from chemical equations.
