Complex 1D model of lower part of male urinary tract
Original language description
The 1D model of the lower part of the male urinary tract consisting of bladder and urethra is introduced. Bladder model allows to take account the excitation of its muscle wall during the micturation phase. The mathematical model is based on the Huxley theory. Urethra is described as a collapsible tube obeying the linear local constitutive relation. For the solution of the quasi-linear hyperbolic equation describing the flow of urine through the urethra the spliting method is used. The simple algorithmfor the identification of the material parameters based on profilometry is demonstrated. The whole algorithm is applied on one particular case.
