This article desribes a method which uses a simulation model of a TTP/C protocol based distributed imbedded computer system in order to evaluate its faulttolerant properties. The system¨s ability to recover its activity after a large transient fault thatdamages the data of computation was measured in order to demonstrate the utilization of the method.
