Original language description
There are many evidences that fibres within living cells are prestressed without an external load. We propose the idea that this prestress is maintained by the incompressibility of cells. A simple illustrative model is studied. The results show a clear dependence on the prestress which exhibits some features of living cells (prestress-induced stiffening, strain hardening).

Czech description
Je experimentálně ověřeno, že vlákna uvnitř živých buněk jsou předepjatá. V našem přístupu je toto předpětí kompenzováno nestlačitelností buňek. Toto je ukázáno na jednoduchém ilustrativním příkladě. Výsledky ukazují jasnou závislost na předpětí, což odpovídá některým vlastnostem živých buněk (zpevnění způsobené předpětím).
