Modelling and behaviour of a bogie on irregular track

  • Original language description

The paper deals with modelling and dynamic analysis of a bogie running on a spatially irregular track. The bogie consists of two individual drives with hollow shafts and of the bogie frame coupled with the car body. Mathematical model of the bogie is created by the decomposition method. The forces between wheels and rails are supposed to be nonlinear according to Kalker's theory. The whole bogie is excited by spatial track irregularities. The computational in-house software for simulation of the bogie vibration is created in MATLAB. The dynamic behaviour of the bogie is investigated by numerical simulations using proper computational model.
