  • Original language description

    Design of composite/metal joint with sufficient strength is a problem in most applications. It was proved that it is possible to obtain high strength using the wrapped pin joints. This work deals with finite element analysis of influence of geometric parameters of the composite part of the joint on its strength. The modified failure criterion LaRC04 for composite material with continuous fibres was used in strength analysis. This criterion was implemented in finite element system MSC.Marc.
