Original language description
The aim of this work was to create the computational model, by which means it would be possible to predict the strength of the composite part of the joint, thereby investigate the dependence of the composite part strength on the joint geometry. The computational model was created in finite element system MSC.Marc, where the implemented failure criterion LaRC04 was used. The comparison of the numerical and experimental results showed that it was necessary to adjust the criterion LaRC04, which was done. The influence of the diameter of the pins, and width or thickness of the wrapping on the joint strength is shown in this work.
