This article is devoted to the study of the existence of a solution to the periodic nonlinear second order ordinary differential equation with damping u''(x) + c u'(x) + g(x; u(x)) = f(x) ; x 2 [0; T] ; u(0) = u(T) ; u'(0) = u'(T) ; where c in R, g is aCaratheodory function, f in L^1([0; T]) , a quotient g(x;s)/s lies between 0 and c^2/4 + (2?/T)^2 and a nonlinearity g satisfies Landesman Lazer type condition near the zero. The techniques we use are a variational method and a critical point theorem.
