Approximate parameterizations of space algebraic curves
Original language description
In this paper, we present and study a simple method for computing an approximate parameterization of space algebraic curves. Firstly, we determine a space graph which is topologically equivalent to an implicit algebraic space curve. Then, a computation of a spline curve which replaces the edges of the constructed topological graph by segments of a chosen free-form curve follows. The main advantage of the presented method lies in its simplicity as it gives a spline curve consisting of a relatively smallnumber of approximating arcs.
