Original language description
The main objective of this work lies in the application of the lattice Boltzmann method for the numerical solution of the non-linear system of the equations for shallow water flows. The lattice Boltzmann method is a new and promising alternative to the traditional incompressible Navier-Stokes solvers. In our contribution the implementation of the LBM is presented for the test problem of the flow around a circular cylinder and for the simulation of free surface after dam-break.
