Comparison of two approaches to the modelling of vibrating bodies with mutual frictional contact
Original language description
The aim of the paper is to introduce an alternative method for the solution of a contact problem suitable for optimization. The method is based on the division of a contact surface into small faces and on the expression of local contact deformation and slip velocities using global generalized coordinates. It was implemented in MATLAB system and results were compared with a chosen standard finite element code (ANSYS).
