    Acoustic waves dispersion in double porous media, homogenization approach

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with modelling of acoustic waves propagating in strongly heterogeneous porous material saturated by fluid. We consider the Darcy flow of a compressible viscose fluid in a rigid porous periodic structure with large contrasts in the permeability coefficients, thus, representing the double porosity. Using the homogenization method based on the asymptotic analysis w.r.t. the scale parameter we obtain the homogenized model of the acoustic waves and two types of local microscopic problems which allow for computing the effective material coefficients of the porous medium.
