Original language description
Fretting damage of fuel rods may cause operations problems in nuclear reactors. In this paper are presented method of mathematical modelling of fretting wear, description of the experiments and discussion of obtained results. The results are evaluated especially on the basis of the loss of mass in grams of Zr cladding generated by the work of friction force W=1[J] and friction coefficient in dependence on harmonic excitation frequency and temperature. The fretting wear paramaters are used for fretting wear prediction of fuel rods on the basic of calculated work of friction forces in the contact areas of the fuel rod cladding with the spacer grid cells.
