Modelling some Fatigue Characteristics of Composites
Original language description
An approach to predict the fatigue life of laminates and a damage model to the solution of these construction are demonstrated. To recognize the indicated fatigue calculation methodology and involve the randomness of the fatigue issue, fatigue propertiesof a glass fibre laminate are applied. With a view to doing material characterization, a series of experiments were run on graphite/epoxy unidirectional lamina subject to transverse and in - plane shear loading stipulations, especially transverse direction tests.
