Original language description
Fusion of estimates is a cornerstone of decentralised estimation. The maintaining of full knowledge of estimation error cross-correlations is deemed intractable there. Hence, fusions under no or partial knowledge have been explored. This paper inspects an implicit constraint of the set of the correlations. It provides a tool for an analysis of upper bounds of admissible mean square error (MSE) matrices. Namely, it evaluates the maximum of the MSE matrices in a geometric sense. In the meantime, the upper bounds are minimised and a new family of lower bounds of information matrices is presented.
