Original language description
The contribution presents a methodology of lubrication of undulated journal bearings modelling using homogenization approach. The pressure distribution in the fluid-film is modelled using Reynolds equation. Analysis of dynamic behaviour and stability of a rigid rotor supported by undulated journal bearing is investigated for perfectly balanced rotor. Dynamic properties are followed in dependence on chosen parameters. We investigate the influence of undulation on the bearing load capacity.
