Clinical potential of MICA/MICB genes polymorphisms in HSCT
Original language description
The selection process of the optimal donor for haematopoietic stem cell transplantations (HSCT) should be based on HLA match but, if possible, also include other immunogenetic or non-immunogenic parameters with the potential to influence the outcome of transplantation, such as MICA/MICB. Our study aimed to find polymorphisms in MICA and MICB genes and study their effect in AML patients after HSCT. The whole process, including bioinformatics solution, was prepared to be proposed as a potential solution for future clinical use.
