Methodology innovation of measurement and evaluation of reverse traction currents of railway engines is described in this paper. The reasons of their measurement, present methodology and reasons for their innovation are briefly mentioned. The newly proposed methods of measurement processing and evaluation are then described, especially Continuous Wavelet Transformation (CWT) features.
