Usage of EMG measurement in human body modeling
Original language description
The aim of this study is to test the usage of the human body model for the muscle activity computation. This paper shows the comparison of measured and simulated muscle activities. Active muscle states of biceps brachia muscle are monitored by EMG methodin a given position and for given subsequently increasing loads. After that the same conditions are used for simulation using a human body model. This model consists of rigid body segments that are connected by kinematic joints. The model involves all major muscle bunches. Biceps brachia active states are evaluated by a special muscle balance solver. Obtained results of the simulation are compared to the experiment. The analysis shows that the values of muscle activations are comparable
