In the poster we present an enhancement to SfePy open source finite element code- an implementation of Isogeometric Analysis (IGA). In IGA, the CAD geometrical description in terms of NURBS (Non-uniform rational B-spline) patches is used directly for theapproximation of the unknown fields, without the intermediate FE mesh.
