Sekvenační analýza genu SLG z recesivně autoinkompatibilních linií Brassica napus.
Original language description
In Brassica species, self-incompatibility has been mapped genetically to a single chromosomal location. In this region, several closely linked genes have been identified. Two of them, S locus glycoprotein (SLG) and S locus receptor kinase (SRK), which are known for the longest time, appear to be essential for SI reaction. Recently, additional 15 genes linked to S locus have been found. Among the genes it has been identified gene encoding small cysteine-rich protein, which is candidate to pollen ligand In addition to linked genes there are unlinked SLR genes (S locus related genes). In this review, we discuss role of these genes and current view on self-incompatibility mechanism in Brassica.
