The paper presents the results of Czech Red cattle breeding and preservation. The programme included absorptive crossing of Czech Pied cows and Czech Red cattle bulls. Preparing the mating scheme, the inbreeding has been taken into account. There are nowup to 133 representatives of Czech Red breed in the Czech republic. The aim is to preserve the Red Cattle population as the Red-Mid-European breed in the Central Europe.

Příspěvek shrnuje výsledky programu chovu a regenerace české červinky. Program zahrnuje převodné křížení českých strakatých krav býky české červinky. Při přípravě připařovacích plánů byla zohledněna role příbuzenské plemenitby. V současnosti je v republice 133 představitelů české červinky. Cílem je společná ochrana a zachování červené populace skotu střední Evropy ve formě středoevropské červinky.
