The effect of common buckwheat growing on weeds.
Original language description
The aim of this contribution was to evaluate the influence of buckwheat stand on weeds in field conditions. In years 2003-2005, we observed the influence of buckwheat stand (three genotypes) on weeds in field conditions (380 m a.s.l., sand-loam soil gleyficated, pH 6.4). Seeds were sown in lines 12.5 cm wide, growth density being 200 plants.m-2 and the experiment was organised in three variants (buckwheat stand with natural occurrence of weeds, weeded buckwheat stand and a plot with natural occurrence of weeds). The part of a individual weed and dry matter of weeds and buckwheat were determined in every variant before the harvest. Weeds did not influence total dry matter of buckwheat at the end of growing season. Field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense), gallant soldier (Galinsoga parviflora), barnyardgrass (Echinochloa crus-galli) belonged to most frequent weeds in the buckwheat stand. Plants of buckwheat influenced drymatter weight of field pennycress, Canadian thistle and ribwort plantain

Vliv pěstování pohanky seté na plevele
Czech description
Pohanka významně ovlivnila množství vytvořené sušiny u penízku, pcháče osetu a jitrocele kopinatého.
