Original language description
In 1998 and 1999 seven varieties of buckwheat and seven varieties of proso millet were grown on plots in České Budějovice. It was investigated formation dry matter in individual part of plants and yield. Buckwheat have got very quick initial increase ofoverground biomass in comparison with proso millet. Among varieties were not significant differences in formation of dry matter. Ecology conditions have got significant effect at formation of dry matter, and they influence effect of fertilization. Proso millet had higher yield of grains when it had formed higher dry matter of biomass, but buckwheat had higher yield of grains when it had formed maximum dry matter content of biomasses earlier.
