The study was detecting the influence of AMS on behaviour of milking cows and possible different influence of milking machines on dairy cows after first and next lactations. The activities of all dairy cows in the herd were observed during 24 hours, we focused on their need of food, drinking and lying down during 30 minutes after usage the milking machine. We evaluated data from milking machine Lely Astronaut - average daily milk yield of each cow and the herd as a whole, number of visits of milking machine, the length of preparations for milking and time of milking. The results were compared with dairy cows after the first lactation and the other cows. At dairy cows after the first lactation (the first group) a need for drinking after milking was 40.4% and at cows with more than one lactation (the second group) 41.7 %. A need for food intake was identified at the rate of 75 % at the first group and 88.6 % at the second group, to lie down in 30 minutes after milking needed 12 % at the
