Prestice Black-Pied pig (PBP) is an original Czech breed, which has been bred as animal genetic resource since 1992. Until the year 1992 this breed was used in maternity position in the hybridization programme for final hybrids production. There are onlya few literary sources focussed on the carcass value of this breed. For example KLUSÁČEK et al. (1991) mentioned in PBP pigs at 100 kg slaughter weight share of meat parts 47.24%, weight of ham 6.86 kg, share of ham 18.18% and loin eye area 3 737 mm2. Backfat thickness was measured at three locations ? 33.2 mm, 23.6 mm, 22.1 mm and average backfat thickness was 26.3 mm. KOLÁŘ and PAVLÍK (1989) found out the average slaughter weight 99.07 kg, share of meat parts 46.01%, share of ham 17.82%, loin eye area 3 644 mm2 and average backfat thickness 27.4 mm. At 110 kg slaughter weight PAVLÍK (1991) measured the lean meat content 41.21%, average backfat thickness 45.00 mm and loin eye area 3 503 mm2. PULKRÁBEK et al. (1994) mention lean meat c
