RemoteChanges is a software application coming from RemoteGuard software. It is a software application for assessment of time changes of qualitative parameters of inland water bodies (e.g. lakes, fishponds etc.) from Sentinel 2 satellite images. The software allows downloading images from Sentinel 2 for a specific area of interest and time period defined by the user. In the following step the software processes satellite data (radiometric and atmospheric correction) and calculates differences of water quality parameters (chlorophyll a, total suspended solids) between two time periods. The software uses the Cubist model which is the extension of the M5 model tree trained by data sampled from fishponds and lakes for calculation of qualitative parameters for this purpose. Following the calculation, the results are displayed in graphical user interface window in the form of scaled plot for selected area as well as in form of tabular output. The results can be downloaded and saved. The software is implemented as a stand-alone application for the Linux operating system, but it planned to be available for other operating systems too.
