Persistence of denitrifying enzyme activity in refrigerated and air-dried Cambisols
Original language description
Denitrifying enzyme activity (DEA) declined to a greater extent and was more variable in soils stored air-dried for 6 months than after storage at 4 degree C. DEA was greatest in ferlitized soils. The relative differences in DEA between soils were maintained after storage at degree C. We suggest that storage at 4 degree C is more appropriate than air-drying.
