    Some notes on surface tension of water

  • Original language description

    Although it is a fundamental physical parameter, the surface tension is difficult to measure. There are large discrepancies among values of the surface tension of water, as reported in the literature. We show a short overview of the values of the surfacetension of water at 20 °C and 25 °C and compare these with data gained by IAPWS. We show a possible sources of the discrepancies connected to the measurement of the surface tension of water.
