The article discusses the relationship between the organizational structure and the issue of defining Management Control Systems (MCS), which should support the customer orientation of the company and its performance. As difficulties are specified: several decision-making places, multiplicity reporting, unclearly specified competences, contradictory interests and other. MCS is to be created after a thorough critical analysis of the organizational structure and set competences. ICT supports information need of this system.
