Original language description
One of the factors that play a significant role in the use of information technologies in teaching is the teacher's belief on the rightness and usefulness of such teaching. The here presented research focused on the question whether teaching in which allruler and compass construction is replaced by constructions in the programme Geogebra negatively impacts on the level of pupils' geometrical knowledge. The aim of the research carried out in six schools with 12 year old respondents was to find in whichtraditional test questions pupils taught with the help of computers fail. Having been taught a comprehensive topic in the period of 8 lessons the pupils sat two test; one based on pencil and paper drawing using, the other on answering questions and making drafts. The paper presents the aims, the content of a teaching experiment, comments on the perils of the used methods and on the research results.
