    The situation in the area of creating and promoting an innovated curriculum of computer science subjects, especially with regard to the development of the concept of Computational Thinking, is being increasingly asserted also in the conditions of Czech education. However, the question remains, what teaching content is preferred by primary school pupils, and which specific teaching topics are accentuated by them. We will try to answer this question in the presented article which introduces some partial outputs of a research survey focused on the issue of preference of teaching content of computer science subjects taught at schools in the Czech Republic, and whose target group consisted of upper primary school pupils.
