Several pieces of research were conducted focusing on the use and creation of digital educational (teaching and learning) environments implemented in Mathematics lessons at the upper-secondary school level. The participating pupils were tested using didactical tests and they were also observed during their work. Based on the observations and several test analyses, we statistically tested the success of the pupils in particular atypical mathematical problems. At the same time, we uncover possible causesof differences in their scores.
