English teachers? education in technology integration has undergone changes since computers became common in schools: from gaining general user skills to providing teaching specific courses. At first these were for teachers of all subjects together. Nowadays pedagogy students and teachers in western countries are offered subject specific education on how to integrate information and communication technology in their classes. This has become our goal as well. In the process of setting up a course on technology integration for English as a foreign language teachers we encountered the following question: ?What makes an English teacher successful in using technologies?? We found 10 role model teachers who have a lot of experience in this field. The paper informs about the results of interview analysis to find out the main factors of learning to use and actively implement technology.
