    This study presents the results of a pilot investigation into the impact of an interactive workbook on pre-service biology teachers&apos; understanding of photosynthesis. Combining STEM education elements, the research assessed changes in their comprehension of aquatic plants&apos; photosynthetic biomass production and its ecological role using pre/post-tests and concept maps. Initial findings revealed a low level of understanding, but after the intervention with the interactive workbook, post-test results indicated improvement.
