The paper presents results of research conducted in the field of CLIL focusing on the research question whether it is possible to present mathematics by the method of CLIL within ordinary lessons of mathematics to pupils and students without previous experience with such teaching and to cover the required topic in the same extent and with the same time donation as it is in the case when the language of instruction is the mother tongue. The experiment was carried out at two educational levels ? lower andupper secondary school level.
