The aim of this paper is to analyse and create a strategy for the field of Human Resource Management, its importance and functionality according to the categorization of companies as micro enterprises, small enterprises and medium-sized enterprises. Theprimary data were collected by means of a questionnaire survey and interviews with managers and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Region of South Bohemia in 2013 within the grant project GAJU 039/2013/S being called as follows: Human Resource Management of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
