Original language description
The contribution deals with some selected aspects related to the level of implementation of process management in small and medium-sized enterprises. It as well analyses the financial success rate of the process managed small and mediumsized enterprises.Further, the ascertained characteristic approaches of SMEs management with regard to the level of implementation of process management principles are summarized. The results of the implemented research are presented. The process management is more oftenimplemented in larger SMEs, and its implementation as well depend on the sector (for example, companies specializing in food production or trade are hardly ever fully process managed, but they all implement process management at least partially). For the assessment of the financial success rate of SMEs, the average profitability of assets for a period of five years was chosen as an indicator.
